Crystal and Jed

Referred by a past bride, this couple was made for each other. The pair is very involved in their church and on the day of the wedding, you could feel the presence of God and true love in the air. On their wedding day, the couple tied the knot and sealed it with their first kiss as husband and wife. In fact, prior to their wedding, the couple had never kissed, EVER! It is so nice to see a couple that is truly getting married for all the right reasons. The love that these two individuals is a bond that will last a lifetime.

Rhia and Allen

Our next couple was introduced through the bride in our last post, Natasha! Natasha met Rhia and Allen while working at Coldstone Creamery. This couple was a fun couple to collaborate with as they were very interested in working with symmetrical objects, even numbers, and straight and round edges so much so that it began to emerge as a theme in their wedding. Pandas were also carried out as a theme throughout the wedding; they even made an appearance on the dessert table where panda cake pops (created by the bride and groom) were displayed beside the black and white wedding cake, which was created by the groom himself! Although the couple had a fun time planning their special day, the planning didn’t come without a few bumps in the road. In fact, the couple almost postponed their wedding in honor of Allen’s best man’s passing. However, because the couple knew that he would have wanted them to go on with the wedding they continued planning the wedding. On the day of the wedding, the couple honored the best man both in the ceremony as well as the reception. The day came together beautifully, and we had a wonderful experience getting to know and work with this couple on a day they will never forget.

Matt and Natasha

We met Natasha at a previous job and had kept in touch for years. We were overjoyed to hear the news of her engagement to Matt. Working with this couple was a complete joy. The love between Matt and Natasha was apparent through the entire planning process. This wedding was a pleasure to work on because Natasha was such an easygoing bride with a taste for a simple yet elegant wedding that wasn’t too over the top. To make this wedding reception original, The Fry Girl and Sweet Lucie’s provided refreshing treats after hours of dancing the night away. The full day of events was truly about the couple, their love for one another, and the union between the bride and groom. We loved working with Matt and Natasha!

D & G Wedding

We worked with D & G for about 9 months and had fun with all their ideas. From wedding flowers to midnight snacks, this wedding had just about everything you'd want! The dance floor was always packed thanks to the Arabic band and amazing DJ. This wedding had more vendors that usual but we loved working with everyone of them.

Candy Favors

There has been a lot of talk about candy buffets lately - we just love them!  Although some people might think this trend is no longer "in" or, well, trendy, it's always a hit!  Buying bulk candy for an entire candy buffet can be expensive, so today I have an alternative favor to share with you.  I found this super cute idea on You Are My Fave's blog and loved everything about it - the bottles, the decals and the mix of candy/colors.   You can either use them as escort cards or place them at each place setting.  You can view the entire post/her tips here.
